It is essential that you contact your insurance company to determine if psychological testing or psychotherapy is considered a covered benefit and find out if you need pre-approval (pre-certification) so that you can later seek reimbursement.

Most insurance companies do cover psychotherapy and psychological testing but may not cover educational testing. It is important that you understand the limitations of your insurance coverage.
